Naut, re my Australian post. NO there is not much to show that is why
the cattle roam over thousands of square Kilometers of land. Some of these Stations are as big as a small European Country. Like Canada it is big sky country.

Grew up with all sorts of furries
and if a couple of thousands of years from now if archaeologists still exist and were to dig up the acre adjoining my granny's (now aunt's) house and the house I grew up in they would likely wonder as to the number of animal graves. As a result of my granny and aunts being such cat people, I went from loving them to resenting them over time. I found that I ended up liking cats who are like dogs and actually care that I exist other than to serve

You wrote this so well. Only a person who at one time or another has had both cat and dog could fully understand the enormity of the differences.

Cats and Dogs can make for a lot of interesting events. It'll be interesting to see what other interactions the two have had if any.

Bubbles owns you all the photo says it all. the way that she holds her head
high and sits with such regal confidence.
I adore both dogs and cats and we would have a dog if ....there are reasons we decided not to, when the husky from across the way comes over Mr. Graysome roars his very uncouth language for Zoe to get out.

Bubbles seems to be an entity sufficient unto herself.
Miss Kitty, who claimed me as her person many years ago, looked very much like Bubbles, and she shared your amazing kitty's opinion of dogs in general. Ben will have to adjust. Once he understands that, life will be more tranquil in Naut's pack. (of course I could be wrong.)

Oh I love Miss Bubbles. I like dogs but really I am a cat person. As long as I allow my cat to think she rules the roost she minds well.
