This is mindful of when I say un-thaw the meat and my wife says but it is un-thawed.

I have to admit that I did not know that is was a grammatical error. I never used it though because I thought it was strange to have an ir- in front of regardless when regardless itself made the point.

it amazes me how the language has changed over my life time.
i do believe one reason is texting and tweeting shorten many words.
