Kabu: I've told all grandchildren that I will never grow-up. That's when you start forming opinions and Oh the trouble starts. LOL

It wouldn't have been my first choice,
but I love the whimsy of it, and if it made you happy it was worth it. Maybe not right away, but one day the window that wasn't will be a great story to laugh about at reunions.

You should have been a pavement artist Amanda, not know it is bad for the knees I suspect. I think I would've liked the window, not too many trailing and hanging things I would have been just a bit worried about fire. Enjoy your blogs,

Maybe she was afraid someone might peek in the window that you painted to shine in the dark. LOL. I can't even imagine sleeping in a room where everything glows in the dark.

How funny! She was probably afraid what you might leave behind! LOL! O, you should post the picture of it, too! sam

I guess your room while you were there needed to be something that
represented who you are, and where you wished to be. Children seem to lose so much of their fun and humor and ability not to be so serious once they get to a certain age and have children of their own.

It scared my daughter because
she did not expect to see a lit up window on the wall. I did apologize.

That must have been confusing as hell! Are you sure it wasn't a portal to another dimension, a la The Twilight Zone?
