Sorry this happened to her. Look at both sides. If she had been drinking and had had a wreck; lets say hit you on the highway, you or whomever would have been ticked big time that they did not stop her when they saw she was weaving over the white line. This was an inconvenience to her, especially after a long day but not unjust in any manner. If you don't buckle at this sort of happening you will have lots fewer problems, this is not a problem just an inconvenience.

I think the cops think every young person does drugs or drink! But, it's the crossing of the white line that allows them the opportunity to pull someone over and test them to no end! My daughter was going to pick up her boyfriend after a gig and cop pulled her over because he said she did not allow enough clearance before signaling to turn! Then he gave her the business, too! He wouldn't even let the BF get in the car! Just so insensitive they are at times! sam

It's ashame how some of these cops are. The sad thing is that they wasted their time when they I am sure they could have gotten someone who really should not have been on the road.

Years ago my son got pulled over driving his sisters car who was of legal drinking age, back then in our small bedroom community the local police always handcuffed the teens they pulled over. Any way, after they had him cuffed they asked if they could search his car, he told them it was not his car, but his sisters and then told them they could. They found an unopened bottle of wine and arrested him for possession...Of course he was cleared when the recite lead them to my daughter.
