Pat
I don't sing much - I wouldn't want to inflict my voice on the world, LOL. But I tend to whistle in a very subdued way when I'm working on something and need to concentrate; it's probably a form of 'musical doodling'. I also do it when I find myself in a dicy situation, which happens sometimes when I'm sailing...

You are not crazy
I just read your story. Here and there I thought I was reading about myself. Keep all channels open. 75% of my witings come through my right ear. Crazy? Who cares? I'm just beginning to publish 7 books and have over 400 poems. Then again, I'm a lot older than you, so I've had more time. 71 this May. I once had a Southern Black Man dictate his mama's eulogy while I was cleaning up my kitchen. All I could find was a paper plate and I was saying out loud, "Stop! Wait till I get a pen" I wrote it and it's in one of my poetry books, I think.
Don't overlook anything. Information comes to us in may ways and through many people. I wish you the best.

Or a blessing, sounds like private fun. I often sing one line of a song
if it is appropriate to something that just happened.

Ah no - you are not alone, Pat_B. I was in full Christmas party swing when my daughter decided to pop into the world. I came out of it singing a dirty little French ditty that had the nurses laughing and my hubby (at the time) cringing in shame, LOL!! And I was actually reprimanded once when an arrogant boss, after getting things off his chest, heard me humming George Harrison's 'Isn't it a pity, isn't it a shame....'

Re: CC - "write a few more lines"
Actually C C, the title of my post today is a lyric from the Disco era. "Get Down Tonight" I believe is the title. I'm not sure which group sang the song -- it might have been the Bee Gees. It was that era when John Travolta was the dancing star of "Saturday Night Fever."

Seems in the genes Pat, you could write a trial version just to amuse us. [Sing a little song make a little love get down to it tonight] I am sure you could write a few more lines for this.
