How utterly insane that a religion can have impacted in this fashion that everyone will be on pins and needles for absolutely nothing but giving them, the true infidels total dominance over what people in the free world say and do! Just inane! And I have heard that the good ole US of A may have a trial on the accidental burning of the Quran! Give me a break, why the hell was it left behind if it is so sacred to these folk! sam

I feel that you are spot on with your assessment. It's dangerous to try to silence anything.

I have nothing against freedom of religion, as long as one doesn't try to force others to adhere. Our countries are built on freedom of speech - hate mongering is another thing altogether. Politically correctness aside, where does one distiguish the difference?

"I have found out there ain't no surer way to find out whether you like people or hate them than to travel with them"  ~ Mark Twain

I wonder what would happen, if instead of jail or fines people found guilty of hate speech crimes were made to travel with the offended for a time.
