I wore them for years...then suddenly got lazy. Glasses are easier to manipulate on a sleepy morning.

Sorry to read this but it is good to have a diagnosis. once you are used to
them the important on going thing is to always always make sure that you are 100% careful with keeping them clean. Never cut corners or be too tired or busy to ensure everything is really clean so that you don't get infection.

I think you will be fine with contacts! My son has them and he learned how to put them in and take them out very quickly as I know you will! I hope you have great results to rid yourself of the double vision, too! sam
