Thanks, TAPS. You are right. Although my husband wanted me to go, we both realize that this "is" his mission and if our other member of our family (our cat) wasn't dying, I probably would have planned to go. No matter how hard the trip might be. I think this will be a good learning lesson in love and absence making the heart grow fonder!! Thanks for your encouragement.

I would stay home
This sounds like his mission...don't let the opinion of others color what is right for you. If you go then it won't be with the same spirit as your husband. Labor of love should be just that LOVE!
Stay home, write stories and plan a wonderful surprise when he gets home..that can be your contribution!

I would have to stay home, too much work and too short a time frame to
do it all in and all...I am one of those people who pay to help to build those wells rather than go. you did right for you and pusscat.
