Re: Bob
I've tried sonnets only twice, and neither one turned out very regular. I haven't given up, but they're hard!

Bob
Two lovely ladies, though I know Emily far better than Liz. When it comes to sonnets, I am sort of sticking with Will...

I did a couple of Emily poems last Valentines day, but this is my favorite.

Re: Thanks, Marissa. I'm a great fan of Emily's, but I'm finding
that she wrote a lot that I just don't understand.

Re: Well, well, well. Two very different moods here...
Interesting way you used "rose" - isn't "A Rose for Emily" a Faulkner story? I like the first one too. The second occurred to me this morning. In doing a little parody of her poem, it occurred to me how hard it was to write sonnets like hers' My hat's off to all sonnet writers!

Well, well, well. Two very different moods here...
I like the sentiment in the rose you wrote for Emily.
