Hi darling, I have been browsing back through a few of your posts....
just catching up and you know that you and your family remain in my prayers. The beautiful Brat has really grown into a lovely woman and I feel so hurt for her for what is happening. Thank God that you are there for her, it really has all become a mess and I feel so bad for you all.

These are the type situations that need indvidual consideration and not a one mold for every situation. This is when laws are written without out thought and must get enforced due to the written language.

Depression is a serious matter! I think she should get help as soon as possible! When you said he is a permanent resident, is that for the entire U.S. or did it pertain to California only? It's a mess and I hope it can get resolved soon! He seems to have straightened himself out and I am a firm believer in second chances but it appears he is being denied this opportunity! sam

Re:
In the state of AZ they are profiling Mexicans, no he is not an US citizen but he is a permanent resident and he went to jail for something he did 4 years ago. He was living a clean life and was about to start a job when they took him, he should of never been arrested in the first place. He has been here 20 years. The trial is to deport him back to Mexico. It cost millions of dollars to keep him there and away from his family. If they were going to charge him they should of done so 4 years ago not now, when he has cleaned up his act. Yes he was given permission that is why he wasnt here with us for 6 weeks, his palrow officer had to tell the immigration people that he was here. He did so without warning him he could be picked up. It was a total surprise. It is costing us $3500 for an attorney to defend him.

You have said a few times that he was in jail only because he was Mexican. Is he not a citizen of the US? Is he here legally? He is a felon; was he given permission to leave the state of California within the time frame he came here? He is not in jail simply for being a Mexican, not in any state in the union. He has some circumstances other than that. The law inforcement may be wrong in what they have him for but that is not only for being Mexican. I am so sorry your daughter is having a hard time with this. Wait until after the trial to see what is going on and she will feel better.
