Re:

Well, like I always said . . . the really sad, and scary, part is the fact that, yes, there are people who needed to be told these things! I'm sure many teachers are rolling their eyes over some of these, hoping that they aren't directed toward any of their former students!

Re: And speaking of Kitty Litter...

But I thought it was supposed to stay crunchy . . . even in milk! No wonder the cat wouldn't eat it!

Re: JimmyA

Amazing, isn't it? I would hope that it would be safe to use around pets!

Re: I'm counting my blessings...

4 . . . 5 . . . 6 . . . keep going! I'm sure none of these warnings applied to you, right?

And speaking of Kitty Litter...

I recall reading about a letter to the manufacturer of that product: (paraphrasing)

Dear ---,

I think your product is lousy!

I tried putting it out dry, I tried adding water, adding milk, even gravy, but no matter what I added, the cat still wouldn't eat it.

Sincerely,

xxx

I loved that Arn & Hammer one, LOL. "Safe to use around pets" for that kitty litter.

Re: and especially the most ridiculous ones are there

I know . . . I've thought about that too. On tubes of Vagisil it says "Do not put in eyes or mouth!" Did some woman out there really do that once, thinking it would actually help her "problem?" Scary!

Re:

You may not be surprised. They are probably the same people who would be fooled by a sign that read: "This Does Not Apply To Illiterates." Think about it . . .

Re: Jimmy

Voters too? Gee . . . I hadn't consider that. Now I'm even more nervous!

Re: JimmyA..lol..these warnings just get more mind-boggling

I know. That last was absolutely the best. Scary, but funny!

I wonder how many dumb people who have done these kinds of things resulting in the disclaimers say it's dumb to put them on the packaging! lol sam

Jimmy

LOL! But you know what scares me? The people who have to be told these things have a vote...
