You said it. That is what it is... They have to be able to get out of their own problems, even very bad ones or they will never be able to be there for their children to answer questions not solve problems. You take care of yourself and enjoy some of your life for the fact that it is yours.

It's a hard job being a Mother and no matter how old they are we still worry.
I'm going through a lot right now, as well, with both my kids.

They are very fortunate to have such a dedicated mother! But, you have a life to live, too! I am there for my children as well but I still do what I want first! It is a tough situation for both of your children! When my daughter was and is having a tough time in this relationship I simply told her to stop dating needy men! lol I believe it will all work out in the end, the hard part is getting there! That's why it is good for a parent to be supportive! But, YOU HAVE A LIFE TO LIVE, TOO! sam
