You are so right Bob, it is getting so bad that soon enough when the doctor turns the baby to slap his little behind it will say Made In China.

Thank you Sinome. This was one of those poems that I
started 2 or 3 times without much of a plan. The then and now form just evolved, as did the name play at the beginning and end.

Re: Thanks for the visit, Sam. I can remember when everything seemed
to be made in Hong Kong. Now it's all of China, I guess!

Bob
I love it! And E. H. was just about everywhere - he even lived and worked here in Toronto for a bit...

Touche! It seems made in China is everywhere! When I read about Hemmingway I had to chuckle because he grew up in a town near mine, only years before me! And when he became a famous author he would go back for holiday! There was a ferry that connected the banks of the lake, one town to another! One time he was on the ferry and my secretary's father was the captain and he would not budge an inch to give Hemmingway a celebrity break! lol sam

Re: So, CC, maybe their stuff will go on sale then. Come to think
of it, they probably won't have my size.

Re: I really love this one.
Thanks. It was fun to write - it seemed like such a comedown. It looks like a teen business these days.

I really love this one.
The tempo picks up as you go along, it changes from reminiscence to rant! Absolutely would publish it if I had a magazine!
Write on!

That's it exactly, Rhonda! It use to be a synonym for the adventurous life
Now it's teen or twenty=somethings looking cranky because they've just been, well, interrupted.

Took all the romance right out of it, didn't it? I like how you said that!
