Re: Crafty
PS Amanda6, I just read your "About Me", and was struck by some similarities in our stories. I'm 77, had pancreatic cancer two years ago, and also aspire to a Putziler Prize in poetry (only today I learned that one of my poems got accepted by The Cynic, an on-line magazine). As to the rest, your bio is more interesting than mine, but I'm trying.

Re: As a matter of hard, cold fact, I HAVE been bonked on the
nose with a marshmallow and count it as one of the finer experiences of my life. It all depends in the end on who does the bonking.

I always loved camping, and all that goes with it.....
until I got old and found I preferred comfort.

Your writing is quite crafty. Explained without lots of unnecessary words. I will read more today. Amandt

Well it reminded me of a piece of fat a bit of bear meat, or whatever you old campers get up to. I used to like it better when it was in long bars and one could bonk people on the nose with it first. Civilization bah.

I love it! Perfect desciption...and woke memories of winter nights out on the river ice, skating often interrupted to gather around the fire on the bank for some 'creme brulée'.

Re: You're right. It does remind me of creme brulee.
Sure, Pat - the crispy skin you break through to get at the custard stuff! I always wonder at the fuss made over S'Mores when all those puffs of goodness in the bag are so good all by themselves - toasted or un.
