Re: It's true that there is a lot of caring and supportive sentiments.
There's a lot going on with other sites like "journal' that I'm unaware of because I limit my time to just the poetry site, but I can sense bonds that have formed. Really an amazing network!

Re: I read today in Writers' Digest that a blog like this might count
as "being published' with some editors, and they don't want already-published poems. That is, "posting' a poem may doom it for publishing purposes. Perhaps that's not true of all editors. Have you heard anything on the subject?

Excellent! So well expressed :-) and I think you are totally right... we here are a little tight knit group... and feel safe exposing our most intimate thoughts to each other, because that is what poems are after all, intimate thoughts put to the music of our dreams... Bravo my friend,

Other than my re post, for the most part only the eyes of blogit members have ever seen my poems, they started out as self therapy and I have been self medicating with them ever since, I really liked your poem and the reference to Emily...it obviously struck a cord.

I love that one of Emily's. These days I feel a lot like
