NEW STORY
...ended up face to face with Mr. Nobody, glaring down at her with burning eyes like stars.
She cried out, gasped the stair-railing in a swirl of fright.
Mr. Nobody stood somber and silent, his milk-face unreal in the dim light. "Don't worry, sweetness," he whispered, "there's worse in the world than cat vomit."
If there was anything in life more awful than Mr. Nobody's voice, Jenna had yet to know it.
