Re: Can the statistics be right?

The 2011-12 49ers are a registered miracle, right now!!! Their rushing attack is very solid. Their passing is very efficient! That's the most important air game statistic. QB efficiency! Brett Favre sucked had medicre QB ratings. That's why he won only one Super Bowl ring in two decades of NFL football. That's what Favre's "throw it up for grabs strategy is ultimately worth." One lousy ring. And the all-time record for throwing game losing, stupid "picks."

Ask a ringless Dan Marino! What are yardage and TD records worth, when you aren't efficient enough to "close the deal."

And by the way! I think your NY Giants have got a good shot at the Packers. These aren't the power house Packers of yore. Bad weather doesn't help them anymore. Your very close loss to the 49ers in New York, proved you were good. If this were one of Green Bay's "kill 'em and eat 'em" teams, I'd agree that NYG was dead meat.

The Packers have turned into more of a "finesse team." That's what they used to call the 49ers "West Coast" five-championship thing. "Finesse." The funny thing was the other team always looked like 'death warmed over' after the 49ers 'finessed' them into a coma.

Now we see what Green Bay's finesse offense can do with a sloppy football against an excellent defense. I believe the refs will do everything they can to help the GB Peckers. The refs always, eventually slide into those Green and Gold Peckerwood Jerseys. I guess the Wisconsin "fixeroo money" is just to good for the refs to resist.

Can the statistics be right?

I just heard today that no team has ever won the Superbowl with an offense ranked 25th or less, so the "prognosticators" have already eliminated the 49's based just on that fact. Doesn't matter anyway . . . I don't think anyone's going to get passed the Packers, including my G-Men!
