Ants are like pots.

I once watched a pot to see if it would boil.  It was tedious, and I got really impatient and did a lot of finger drumming, but I can now solidly attest that a watched pot does eventually boil.  I imagine waiting around for ants to fall asleep would be at least a little bit more exciting though.

lol..how do people know?

Do some scientists stay up all night watching to see??  And how can they/we tell if an ant's eyes are open or closed?  Lol, some people just have too much time and sleepless nights on their hands.....
