And a "Happy Birthday, Bird" was appropriate on the 6th and I didn't do it. I've been a little sad about losing people--yours, mine, people that I've known. It seems that 2011 was an especially bad year for that, but I don't suppose 2012 will be much better. We shall see what we shall see.

Get up and stretch those sea legs and run a few miles and you will be good as new. Well maybe better since some of the hard edgy pain is gone. Be blessed dear one.

Those first holidays and birthdays are so difficult after the passing after a loved one...It's nice to read of you all getting together.

Loved your description of the day after the night before...
But I have something to confess: I'm hockey ignorant, and when I accidentally listen to sports scores, the announcers talk about the Maple Leafs and the Canadiens, the Blues in St. Louis, and other names. They never mention the Habs. So, if you think about it sometime, will you share with this blister what is your team's official name?

And to think I thought you might be feeling fit as a fiddle! That was too funny on the 3 a.m. call! I bet Fred thought you might have lost it! lol It will be the last time I let Bird get one on my boys! We needed the points because we have dropped to third place now! So thanks for nothing Bird, he had the power to orchestrate an overtime so we could have gotten a point, puck it all anyway! hahaha I think it was good for you to get the release from bottled up emotions by emptying a bottle! LOL again! Have a great day recovering because tomorrow is Monday and a work day, thankfully you work from home these days and no one will be the wiser! Another lol! I am glad Suzie was there with you, it had to make a real difference! Taking your smile and leaving one behind, too! sam
I have always admired how you have found a way to keep smiling in spite of all you have been through! Takes great courage and you have an abundance of it!

Thanks for the smile, which duly arrived! I'm happy for you that you had a great 'tequila fest' with your friend Suzie, and I agree - these kinds of 'fests' are necessary occasionally, but it's very important to celebrate them in the right company.
How about them Leafs, eh? And Bird obviously knew quality when he saw it...
