Nautikos
I was fascinated returning to live in Texas after sending 30+ years in KC and going to work in an area of Dallas, Irving/Las Colinas, which is where the Cowboys were and a lot of money is.....nothing had changed in that part of the description....what had changed is that my doctors' names were Uppalapati, Pangtay, Shittay (gastroenterologist!!), and so on, and so on.....and the theater by my office had 3 screens showing Indian movies....the only Hispanic brown skin I regularly saw was at one local McDonald's....otherwise, I often felt sari's were the newest style. I once saw current (not the 2000) demographic figures that showed Asian population as being something close to 1/3 in the zip code where I lived and worked. This was all very strange to me for a Texas experience. What does this have to do with your post? THEY'RE COMING!! THEY'RE HERE....AND THAT IS SO BIGOTED OF ME....BUT SO MANY OF THEM ARE NOT BECOMING TEXANS....THEY MAKE THAT CLEAR....SEE, THEY ARE REMAINING "THEY".... AND THAT MAKES ME UNCOMFORTABLE....I don't like that.
