I read in the paper today that the Muslim Brotherhood have there teeth sunk in rather deeply at this point! The military says they will back off when a president is elected but it is uncertain when the 'new' constitution will be drafted! A power gridlock is what it feels like in the long run! Happy New Year to you, too!!! Shelly

I commend you on your ability to define Muslim situations in such a scholarly manner. I salute you my friend. Unfortunately I am not a scholar and my knowledge of things Arab gleaned through time spent in Algeria and Morocco didn't leave me with any great interest in either the people or their hateful beliefs.

If you friend is un-informed, maybe you should have him read your blog. Most of the general population do think the same though - that the in-fighting will keep them from using a joint effort against the west.

a night shirt and a tea towel on his head.

Mr. Graysome still has a weeping eye and is quiet, sad even.

Oh and have a much better 2012 than las tyear was friend Naut.

So far Egypt looks to be an interesting case study because of its demographics...I'd like to wish you a Happy New Year!
