Well, I hope not! Kind of defeats the purpose, don't ya think? Yeah, and I guess it depends on what the resolution was in the first place. Some are relatively easy to pull off, others remain just out of reach. Keep plodding along, though!

Re: Happy New Year...and I don't make resolutions but speaking kindly carin

Thanks. Same to you. Yeah, I don't think a lot of people actually make resolutions, but perhaps certain thoughts cross their minds of some things they may like to change or carry out. But spreading some kindness should be on everyone's list!

Re:

Thanks! Same to you! Yes, some people need structured goals to make certain changes, or at least a starting point. But like you said, they really should be trying to achieve these things all year long, and not just on January 1st! Of course my list of resolutions doesn't apply to everyone ( I was just trying to be humorous ), but I'm sure a few struck a cord with you, and brought someone to mind!

I am going to go with the spreading of kindness! I really don't get into resolutions per se but I am goal oriented so I work to do what is achievable on a monthly basis year by year! But, your list had some very poignant ones that many, many, many people should commit to! Happy New Year!!!! sam
