It is difficult to make many demands with bad credit even if you are able to take on the burden you are requesting. Take care to manage your money really well here. Be blessed.

I will probably never buy again and its just as hard to rent when you have bad credit as it is to buy. I did what I could to get us all over here. I hope soon someday my daughter and hubby can buy their own place.

You were in a tough position and maybe when I said duped it was to strong! I have learned a lot about buying a house since my short sale and that is why I chose to rent until I recovered credit wise! I would rather own but it was more important to get my score up and then move forward! Perhaps you can do the same in a few years, too! It takes 3 years from the last date of the last late payment to qualify for a new mortgage and that's providing the credit score [FICO] is at least 686! It also helps one to get a grant for the down payment of 3.5%! I did not mean to slight you in any way, it's just that buyers will stage the homes to get the most they can! If you do buy again in the future with an FHA loan part of the money can be used for an inspection of the home! Also, bank sales and short sales are ones to stay away from because no matter what is wrong with them they are sold as is! Only those homes sold without contingencies will be fixed before the sale! I hope this is the last problem you have to contend with on the places you bought! sam
