For me there are jobs out there but one must look! I agree that it's futile to think government can create jobs! Shelly

It seems to me that even though many people want jobs, there are few who really want to work.

As Justi commented, the delusion that the government owes us a living seems to be  more and more common even among our western populations. And as you show us here, all one has to do is look at the example of Eygpt for proof that it is exactly that, a delusion! Interesting informative post, as always, Nautikos. A Merry Christmas to you & Jag!!

An excellent post. In the US the majority believe the government can create jobs. It is about as real as believing our high shopping numbers create a greater economy... Only for China. This has always been thus. Insanity breeds insanity. Merry Christmas. Yes what about Jag I have missed all year.

Reading this post brings me back to a sociology course that I took back in college. A lot of this resonates.

Nautikos

% Certainly my history and social science major and background help me tell that you use an interdisciplinary approach to your sociological, political and economic analyses. It makes for interesting reading Naut.  BC-A, Bill’s RJLst
