You make a compelling case for how to evaluate groups of people and how trends can be found despite exceptions to the rules.

still
Still, some just don't see, or want to see. They want to make it all about them and their views. Thanks for letting me copy your homework, and understand the truth you share.

I stated that I was responding to a comment.
My purpose in saying that was to be clear that I was not speaking of what you posted, but to that comment that comes across much less considered than your post. I don't disagree with what you say about the dangers of a certain element of Islam that you term Islamofascist, if I remember correctly. I am not interested in arguing semantics with you over the word "stereotype" as that is entirely beside the point. You understand what I meant by it, and I beleive that most people would.
I am not challenging the substance of what you said. I am not an expert on it enough to do that, though I am always wary of what people are saying when I can hear that thin sound of an axe grinding in the background. Strong beliefs can be a kind of mental/emotional gravity well. So I don't regard you as wrong, and I am not as convinced as you are that you are entirely right. Any kind of fascism worries me, or anything that lets one group of people regard another as not-quite-as-human or not as deserving of basic human rights and dignities. In fact, it is not that different from a single sociopath who considers no one in the world worthy of respect, and tramples the rights of other individuals because they are not as good or deserving as he is. Or she, for that matter. I understand that a society can be that way.
I respect that you have clearly done the homework and come to conclusions based on something substantial. I hope you are saying it to the people who can learn from it, and also who can act on it. I hope you are making a difference and not just ranting. Because it sounds like you are doing the thinking that a lot of other people are not.
It was the tone of the comment that I consider was an excessively antagonistic self-righteous and belittling attitude towards certain groups of people, labeling them by a religious identity which is by no means appropriate or true to apply to all members of the religion. It is the attitude I was responding to. It sounded like hate-rhetoric to me.
I am not Catholic or Islamic or especially Christian or Jewish or any of the major religions. I don't hold much with religion at all. I wish everyone kept their to themselves and let everyone else do the same. Organizing worship always seems to turn it into a thing of politics and power that has nothing to do with anything divine or transcendant.
I am glad you like my poems.
And I am not a guy, by the way.

Re:
Thank you. I still have to go see what you are talking about. I do appreciate your work I do know it is about fact and facts in such cases can never be about individuals and cover the crowd. I will let you attend to your religion or non, I appreciate that you are a gentleman.
