I don't think it ever came up with the Nordiques, FSI

I have a feeling the next person to go out of the organization will be the general director, for having caused all the fuss in the first place! The team was already playing badly - this BS sure can't be helping morale any!! Thought of you today..while driving through our carwash! And it was very, very busy!!

Yep - you remember it perfectly!!!

I'm with you, Pat_B.

The more languages the better. I made sure my kids went to both French and English schools, but not all people have that option here in Quebec. It's sad; the Quebecers' kids are being short-changed by being forced-fed French only education, especially with English being the international language. They are reverting back to how the priests limited them in the past, only with language instead of religion. Wow - that's quite a comparison for my smile - the Northern Lights are awesome! Thank you!!

Ah CCT, the last thing I need

is a talking doggie!! I imagine you're right about the dreams. It's just so new to me, and so darned weird that I'm wondering if there's been something added to my green tea.....

Ah Kabu - Habbie must be pretty red-faced right now!

I can't really see how it could get worse! I have a new stove too...or a new old stove. My son had a couple when doing his canteen business, so gave me one of his when mine kept burning cookies. The oven was kaput. WHy do you ask? Of course it was the oven!!

You got it down, Justi!!

They do funny things with the letter 'h' too. Like not pronouncing it (hungry comes out ungry) or really pronouncing it (elephant comes out helephant). I'm allowed to laugh at it - they sure made fun of mine ...still do on occasion..when I was learning the language!

It can be quite funny sometimes, food4thought

Like mine in French or Spanish, I guess! Or my Japanese daughter-in-law with her 'flied lice' instead of fried rice!

LOL, Nautikos

Pits are not barkers as a rule. But they are experts with 'the look'; very adept at letting you know how bored they are. I agree with you about silliness in politics....we can even be safe by saying it's world over!

We called that one wrong, eh Sam?

Was still cooking, but kept an eye on the Wings vs Canucks game after - much better game - rock 'N roll - but they lost too. Not a good night! Jo's still blue - terrible!! And his other operation only in February or March.

I feel bad for that interim coach in Montreal. He's not going to get a fair deal it seems. I wonder if this was ever an issue when the Nordiques were around.

I've heard that accent, and admire anyone who's fluently bilingual.

Thanks to the limited view of those who run the educational system, generations of Americans were short-changed by the English only focus. In the Midwestern college where I got my degree the literature curriculum was mostly American and Brit writers, especially the romantic period. Not until I retired and went to work in a Seattle community college was I exposed to contemporary writers  from the world over. Your smile does shine through my monitor like shimmering Northern Lights.

Well adnhor If only your doggy could talk . EEk, to somethings. Dreams probably your mind diverting your emotions away from sorrow. Never under estimate the power of the mind to rectify or try to soothe the way forward.

For 'semi-retired' you sure sound busy! The hubbub over the Anglo coach is silly, but then silliness is a staple in Canadian politics these days, no matter what Province, and Ottawa as well, of course. (And yes, I am a supporter of Harper! I shudder at any of the alternatives, LOL...)

And you're lucky that Grump only looks at you. Jag barks at me...

Like I said earlier, winning's only language is yippie! They have had a tough start to the year! I still have faith in them and I am looking forward to a yippie and a dance, too! I read where they put the headline in English just to go after him! What the heck, rally around him and the team, they need the support! My goodness that was horrendous on the operation and now he has more to face! I would be gun shy, er, knife shy if I were in his shoes! Nonetheless he is first and foremost in my prayers! I can smell the cooking, I want to slump at your feet if that's the easiest way to get a treat, lol! TONIGHT, a win, I can feel it! I even have sound now so look out I will be whooping it up too! GO HABS! I really need them to beat the Blackhawks because they are 3 pts ahead of my Wings! I think it is so cool that the NHL does not have games on Christmas or the Eve of it, more sports should do that! sam
