Perhaps she just likes a moan LLM and really enjoys you taking her seriously. She can't be too bad if she liked the carol singing. She is probably typical of a lot of mums

it is tough being Mom and nor having money for gifts...suggest
she goes to the dollar shop and buys everyone something silly ...just for giggles.
