I was telling my son most the time the parents arent that crazy about their kids choices, I know my parents didnt like my choice in husbands and I guess they knew more than I did, after 20 years of marriage

I remember when my daughter went off to be with her boyfriend (at least an 8 hour drive away from where we lived). It wasn't easy to "let her go" but now, 4 years later, she's with a new and much nicer man and lives 5 minutes away. I think we just have to let our kids make their choices even if we don't agree with them at the time.

Your son had a good thought about her moving to the U.S. rather than him coming here.Like in Canada he'd have to wait for a Permenent Residency card and that can take more than 3 years as we found out for Kabu. Now, a person can't work here without a Permanent Residency card anymore than a person could work in the U.S. without a Green Card.Just thought I'd give you and son that thought.

maybe it is time for your son to lay it on the line to the Gal Pal
Tell her he can have a house and work and everything where you are and if she is serious about loving him...she should visit...then work something out throught the courts re the child with her ex. otherwise...........well it's email friends only.
