To me, moving is a tooth-ache, filing is the plague - I certainly hope you'll emerge from this doubly-diseased state healthy and even stronger than before...

Work, work and more work................
I'm glad to see that you are working and keeping things going with all that stuff you have to do; including all the filing. I always find that it is good to clean out things regularly just so you know what you have! It sounds as if you have the best of both worlds with your pj's on!!! It will be good to have company for the holidays and here's wishing you a most prosperous New Year in everything!

It can be so tough to move things, especially since everything is everywhere...I myself am looking forward to snow.

It is indeed a process! I know you can get it organized to your satisfaction too! This is a tough time of year when family is no longer there that we treasure! My SIL is going through a similar thing, first Christmas without her mother! Sometimes, I think folks go through the motion and keep the pain inside until they can release it! For me the most important thing is to give yourself a break and one step at a time! It has been a weird start to winter although officially a few days off. We haven't had any precipitation and the foothills are virtually bare, unusual for this time of the year! I must admit I do like the warmer days for it helps my heating bill! So happy that Susie is coming for an extended stay, it will help your spirits tremendously! And tonight we have hockey, of which I am looking forward to, so that will ease the pain, too! Go Habs, Go Wings! I adore that you find a reason to smile, it does make all the difference because it makes me smile too and for that I am forever grateful! sam

Re: Wow! Chaotic days...
I have many more of Bird's stories to share, Pat_B. He led an eventful life. I just can't do it right now - but I will. No, I didn't know about the 'Bird' in your family. Did she keep you on your toes like my Bird did me??

I like the sound of that pajama thing. When the mess overcomes you, just crawl back in bed for a while with the covers over your head.

Wow! Chaotic days...
But it's good, creative chaos and will make that eventual smoothly-oiled machine known as Adnohr's Amazing Technicolor Accounting even more efficient.
Oddly, your Bird's been on my mind at odd moments. I "see" those photos you shared, and imagined that grin. (Did I ever mention that my daughter Robin's nickname was Bird within the family?) It broke my heart when you lost him, but sad as it makes me, I'm still happy you shared his story with us.
