Re: JimmyA

Glad you liked some of my list. Sure, Steeley Dan and Led Zeppelin are world's apart musically. That's the point. Some moments are for meant for "Hey, Nineteen," while others require some "Dazed and Confused!" It's all good!

JimmyA

¹ Of course Steeley Dan’s jazz rock. However Led Zeppelin’s excellent. And, outside my soundtrack it’s all cool Jimmy. I see my finger slipped. Sorry about that.  BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Re:

Yes, that certainly is a list alright! I have the feeling that if we went into a music store together, we wouldn't see each other again until it was time to check out. But that's okay. Like I wrote, everybody's tastes are different ( I'm glad we at least agree on Pink Floyd! )

Re: at the moment it is Christmas...but I would need a variety of classical

That's okay. Variety is good. I only listed ten, but I have hundreds of groups and artists in my CD collection. The Beatles, Elvis, Queen . . . all good choices. I can dig some '60's stuff, too ( Cream, Vanilla Fudge, Jimi Hendrix, Mountain, Tommy James, Jefferson Airplane, Deep Purple ) And I know this is the time of year for Christmas music. I didn't mean to sound so harsh in my previous posting about being sick of every Christmas song ever produced. It was just the repetition of the bulk of them. Some are still nice to hear from time to time.

Re: Jimmy, i think you said it well about different tastes in music for

Thanks. I'm glad you can relate to the concept behind music and mood. Years ago, I had a friend who, when we were going out "partying," would insist on listening to people like Harry Chapin or James Taylor. I have nothing against those artists, but again, they would someone I might listen to at the end of the evening, not while it's in "full swing!" Thanks for the response.
