The 'philosospher'? I'd give him the benefit of the doubt - he could be late-hired 'adjunct' faculty ('adjunct' being an academic eyuphemism for part-time)...
A five-hour exam? Yikes...

a great post and yes that creep is a character you can
build on...I reckon he is trying to con a rich widow......or something..... Son #one is on his last assignment for his MBA.....then an exam and he is done. This is the kid who's teacher told him when he was 10 that he would never amount to anything!!!!!!
and the Perv...Mama had the answer ...and how can his wife come through this clean either.
