I love to go out in a lightning storm, feel the rain and smell that unforgettable smell of electricity in the air.

used to make me think of the end of the world.

I like those kinds of storms.  They are fascinating.
Once I saw a school building struck by lightening.  That was loud and frightening."
Before long the place was encased in flames even though it was a stone building.  The inside burned and the roof fell in.  All the while it was raining.

I prefer to stay indoors with a major storm and watch the show from safety! You painted such a poignant picture with your words! sam

You are, of course, a bit bonkers, but so am I. As for Stephen and

fishing, yeah that was definitely me, but if you hear someone saying he doesn't have time for poetry, nope that was someone else.  The medical stuff may have been  my bout with pancreatic cancer and chemo, both of which I had trouble shutting up about for a while there.

I seemed to remember you mentioning that you were not into poetry much, hoping you would be able to take your grandchild fishing. Remember Bob you were a bit into medical things for a while unless of course I am bonkers and you are not whom I thought you were,    I was just saying or implying that you would make a good critic as you have knowledge of the language, Don't worry sometimes I don't know what

people are rabbiting on about , different  expressions some so familiar to one's self  are at times confusing. Must shut the goose up it is getting dark and  foxy might be prowling.
