i find that my spell check so preferes me to use the American spelling
that I have given in and just write the American way. LOL

Until reading this I never gave much thought about the different types of English that can appear in works. I would hope that the author chose to go with those word spellings as well.

mH Nineteenth century American literature might have been closer to British colonists and later immigrants Irish notwithstanding. Henry James did it reverse. His father moved the family to England in childhood. And then, he visited Europe as lot. His writing style in his novels has a British air Washington Square notwithstanding. BC-A, Bill’s R®s
