You covered a lot of material so to speak in this post! I, too am happy not to be watering and mowing the lawn! I finally got my outdoor work done and the inside tidied up for the holidays! We are not at frost level yet but I am sure it's not too far away! And I can't believe the guy can't make time to put the doors on your cupboards! Just crazy! sam

Arthur did suggest leaving as they were it is handier than having to open doors to search for what one needs. Pity your friend well never mind perhaps he would do the fence.

on them...maybe we can start a new trend: "doorless cupboards - for those who can't wait to dish or drink it out"...actually we're painting our cupboards (Liz and I - unfortunately our fixit friend isn't into the "tedium" of painting.
..)..but we'll do it, one cupboard at a time...

Thank fully one is no longer old in their sixties....I never learned how to
be old....arthritis and stuff of course...but inside I am still me.
Don't worry about the connection with the lady....just say hi when you meet and don't send her signals.
and messed up relationships with people....I am the Queen of that. LOL
