I agree with all the comments here - it's sad that he wasn't confident enough to be honest from the get-go. Your reaction would have been quite different, I'm sure. I also want a piece of that PUMPKIN PIE!

That's quite a story. Apparently he had a need to lose himself in his dreams and in the process he lost you.

If he couldn't be honest with you about something so important
as that then he couldn't be honest about anything. I am sure that if you had known you would have been prepared.
