One of my most cherished memories is of second son at 2 telling the
Santa in the street what he wanted for Christmas....dat Teddy bear.
I had bought a cheap/very cheap cloth teddy for a niece with the outline of a teddy painted on it..and son was with me when I bought it.......yes he got it at Christmas in his stocking...niece got something else...

A vision of shopping in a crowded market with my 3 little rug rats - each of them wanting something different - getting emotional when I tell them "No, Santa is the one who brings the presents" - expressing their emotions loud and clear???
Ummm...nope. I'll take the cyber way, Pat_B, LOL. But I do know what you mean - it was more fun to go Christmas shopping in the past. It was a special time for gifts and activities. When every day is special, it becomes dull - called too much of a good thing.

Great song. I definitely believe in yesterday.
Of course, today is pretty good too when I stop to think about it.
Tomorrow, I'm not sure. We'll see.
