Thanks all for sharing your thoughts! They put a smile on my face knowing that you accept what I am saying!! I am heading to the West Palm Beach area to visit the last sister my mom has who is very ill. I have 4 great aunts who are well at the ages of 89, 91, 93 & 95. I will return Monday. I may get the chance to post.

I have experienced that many times, and often anymore, do not even try to make my case unless it is really necessary. In my experience, it has been best to let people find out what was true or not true.

After the fact never helps
I, too, am one of "those people" who always think of the perfect retort, the perfect comeback, the perfect response, long after the initial exchange. Like the old saying goes, it's better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt! And almost every candidate I hear speak these days seem the perfect fool!
