In my case, I can't think of any chance meetings far away. About all I can think of is when I was finished visiting my hometown. I stopped at the next town heading north 10 miles and popped into an auto parts store for a gas cap replacement. The man who took my order went to high school with me.

Not too long ago, I went into a very obscure litte shop out of state to buy a special gift for my wife for her birthday. It was the type of shop I would never normally go into by myself, but had items in it I knew my wife liked. There I ran into an old college buddy I hadn't seen in twenty-five years! Small . . . and getting smaller!
