I have used personification in poetry and it seems to bring the poem to life and a heightened sense of awareness permeates the poem as it did with the doll reference! It just feels like a whole dimension is created which give rise to deeper interpretation! You did a fine job of portraying the essence of this cited poem as well! I like how the reader and the critic can discern the meaning and enhance the meaning, too! Shelly

You are really too kind and always so loving towards almost, why almost, to each of my writes, and this is so very encouraging. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Re: TAPS
Thank you so very much, ma'am, and I am glad that you could relate the poem, especially it's rendering in Spanish. I am always fascinated as to what is the style of those who win Nobel prizes, and I must admit that I got entangled with the sudden changes in the imagery which upon contemplation, I found intimately organic.

Of course, after reading this post, I followed the link to read the poem. How could I not? I love the way you write about others' writings. I enjoyed reading it first in Español. I don't use it very much these days and my speaking and reading of it has become stale. But there is such a freshness in this poem, and it/you definitely bring back memories of the times I have been in the wonderful pine forests of the Pacific Northwest near the coast and listening to the foghorns in the distance.
