Well Jeff I think Veterans day or similar ceremonies are probably helpful to those who have lost loved ones.

As a veteran who faught for your right to have an opion I must agree with Sam and Kabu, and I pray that God will be with Sam's Brave son and return him home safe to his mother...many of my friends never came home. I guess in a way they died for you and your right to have your opinions Jeff.

i always say that I would like to be a Pacifist....but I know that there
are times when I would fight.....like for the life of my baby, or for Wiley....
Besides for me it isn't about the killing...I loathe war but these people gave their lives so that I might have the freedom to write to you and say...I hate and disagree with war.

One thing they did was preserve your right to say what you want without repercussions of any sort! I am grateful my son is still alive even though he is in Afghanistan as I write this! You stated your case most appropriately! There are many who have died to preserve our freedom and for that I am eternally grateful! sam
