"Is it time to plant those young seedlings or is it too soon? Should i cover the poor young things tonight with frost predicted, or take a chance? But when they finally do bloom once spring arrives, its always worthwhile.

TY I love runner beans sir. Aah Nathaniel Hornthorne mentions them in his 19th century American novel House of the Seven Gables sir. Moreover there are varities. I grew the scarlet runner up our garage. That one and even more edible ones on trellises. I received my first beans taped on a Jack and the Beanstalk birthday card. BC-A Bill”s R®st

I remember that you told me about waiting for the soil to warm before planting seeds! I have stuck to it and it helps a great deal with my wanting to get started before it's truly time! sam
