This is the victory I'm talking about, in case you didn't know..:) Easy on the tomatoes there..lol..

"By a nearly 2-1 margin, Ohio voters repealed a new law that would have severely limited the bargaining rights of more than 350,000 teachers, firefighters, police officers and other state employees.

The law signed in late March by Republican Gov. John Kasich would have banned public employee strikes, scrapped binding arbitration, and denied public workers the ability to negotiate pensions and health care benefits."

I can't imagine feeling sorry for a millionaire..:)
But I do know that not all have a fair share. Consider hard earned paychecks that are not enough to cover basic necessities such as adequate food amounts and rent. Consider losing a decent paying job because the company/corporation you work for shipped it overseas to slave labor markets so the board, Wall Street and the CEO could reap even more bonuses. Go back to school they say. You do and get entrapped in the corrupt student loan mess. Now you have more debt and most likely the wages of any new job you do manage to fill does not make up the difference. Many have been told if they could afford rent, they could afford to buy their home - the quintessential American dream. They are managing that rent and think maybe ownership is a way up. Only to be tripped and knocked back down. Then there is health care or more aptly, lack thereof - health care, another human need that is purely profit driven. Imagine having to ignore a medical condition because you can't afford treatment, the elderly who can't afford co-pays on needed meds., the parents who can't afford to take a sick child to the doctor.
If you can imagine any of this, then you have a glimpse of the passion behind the Occupy movement. Add to that hearing the tax obligations of some of our biggest corporations, hearing of the corruption, lies, manipulation, illegal activities that catapult many to obscene wealth. Not all wealthy people are crooks or immoral, but far too many are. And then for the suffering masses to be told to sacrifice even more - their entitlements to which they contributed to - Soc. S. and Medicare so that the powerful can finally balance the books on their back. And to be told to ignore the suffering of your neighbor - the disabled, the very old and young, to let them do with less and less down to eventual nothingness - well, it's tipping over now - do you really wonder why?
America, the Land of Heartless Robber Barons can be restored. And so we shall - the vote in Ohio yesterday is a good sign.
