Can't get any more patriotic than that!
Unfortunately, the concepts of majority and minority play very minute roles in our everyday affairs. Remember the well-chosen words of Star Trek's Mr. Spock when he exclaimed that "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few . . . or the one." It would be nice if that was the case, but it seldom is. This is still a great country, and I'm sure I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, but I believe in the immortal words of comedian Dennis Miller when he said "saying we're the greatest nation on Earth is like being the valedictorian of summer school!"
