Nothing like a good ole school memory to smile about now!
When I was in grade school one teacher solved the problem of a naughty kid by punishing the whole class, making them all march in lock step up and down flights of stairs. The result? The naughty kid was in the dog house with the rest of the students, so, as a rule, cleaned up his/her act.

LOL....I remember so vividly as a girl at Boarding school when I was in
