Re:Thanks, Jay. I had to come up with something so that I could use the
stuff on Sean Connery, Johnny Depp, and Charlton Heston!  It was fun and I may re-visit it at times, but I'm readt to move on. - Bob

Re: Sometimes it does prove prophetic
Yes it does.  In a case like this, it was fun to cook it up, though.  Thanks for the visit! - Bob

And yet a piece of him and his mother are in each role they play...nice work Bob, I loved this whole series.

Re: Thanks, Whisperer. In this wrap-up poem I was able to use
bits and actors that I couldn't fit into a haiku format.  I'm so glad you liked it! - Bob

Re:No, I don't show Ginny my poems - she's not a poem person, I'm
afraid, CC.  You know, you are the slightest bit cryptic in your comments from time to time, so I'm never quite sure how I'm doing.  But that's okay because I usually write to please myself, hoping it also pleases others. This particular batch of haikus just sort of grew and found its own logic until this windup piece, which tries to make it sound as if I knew where I was heading all along.  I didn't. It was sort of fun because I had a groove to follow as far as form and subject were concerned.  Still, I did hope it would get a broader response, but tomorrow I go back to stuff that's less formulaic.   Nighty-night. - Bob

That was great...you really do bring life into your Haiku

Re: Excellent work, Bob
It's a great field to study.  I have a bunch of old Stanley Kramer movies on DVD that are absorbing.  On the Beach shows Gregory Peck really acting and Fred Astaire as,  of all things, a Brit scientist who becomes a winningr race car driver!  But that's not what made them famous. - Bob

Did not mean to be rude Bob I did feel a bit funny, I expect Sam will give me a clout. I shall not have to mess with the corn whiskey. Kabu grumbles at me as it is but it is just in a day's work.

Excellent work, Bob
It is amazing what adulation can do; we follow the studio's lead in typecasting.

Good one Bob, we are the ones who make them believe in themselves. We are a fickle bunch at the best of times. You are wrapping this up well. If it were paper it would hold a good portion of fish and chips. Now you might think he's being demeaning. but not all I think you have really come on strong this last session. The trouble is I feel so damned irreverent, It is the pills I am sure.Or I think it is a strange cultural quirk in the stick people, if we like someone we tease the Hell out of them not wanting any friendly neighbors. It is handy to throw the contents of the pot over the fence if one is at odds. Does Ginny read your work, poor girl.

Brilliant...Priceless, better than a lot of tripe written about

movie stars that I have read from Hollywood.
