Re:
Well Sam in a greenhouse one can keep Autumn alive that little bit longer, but it is the lack of daylight that closes it down. Yes never worry I know it is a menace. I tell you it will slide by before you know it and that hug will warm the cockles. I2TH century

What a magnificent specimen! We had a hard frost and everything is gone in my flower beds! It's so sad but there was too much to cover, or at least I wasn't prepared! Now comes the clean up! I checked the weather forecast and it seems I have 5 days over the next 10 to get the outside work done! I love fall but am never ready for winter, it keeps me inside too much! One thing though after this winter I will be closer to getting a house so I shall embrace it completely! I am sorry I got behind reading but these darn migraines are so menacing! And I am leaving another hug for you just in case you might need one! lol sam

Re:
Thank you Nita. it was never much of an incentive to have a bath here when one had to load a tin tray with water in front of the fire in Winter.

Really lovely! Thanks for your note. South Indians consider the oil bath a sacred ritual---it's not just anointing, but smearing (lavishly!) with special sesame oil. To answer your other question, I think vanity prevails over safety concerns! So much so, that we often say some women are decked up like Christmas trees!! (uncharitable, but sadly, true!)
