ReWell, thank you! Hannibal Lector was very much in my thoughts when
 wrote this.  I'll never forget his smacking his lips at the thought of eating human liver with a glass of chianti!

This was very evocative; I instantly thought of his eyes in 'Silence of the Lambs'; just scary creepy! You capture the essence of these actors so vividly! You have great poetic talent!  sam

he pauses on if, irked, he's looking at a group you're in.  On the other hand, you might feel flattered if, in benevolent mode, his gaze lingered on you. That'a a lot for a single pair of eyes to accomplish! - Bob

Very true - rarely have I seen somebody go from civilised to scarily intent so well
