- Go to Forever fled from childhood lands
Since Thomas was a sickly child I am not surprised that he would embrace solitude! He comes from great stock but his drinking led to his demise! It has always amazed me the volume of work he turned out in his teens! He was committed to poetry and a fine poet at that! I love to dabble in villanelles and he has one that I would love to outdo one day but I think I shall end up being satisfied if I come in a close second! I am sure you know it: "Do not go gentle into that good night"... Shelly

Thank you very much abanerjee - The Fern Hills had quite a bit of poetic phrases like the each morning is a day of new sun arising and such which in turn gives us the measure of time. The lamb always associated with innocence from biblical days due to its white exterior and vulnerable qualities. I loved it and you should do this more often.
