Re: good fun on a dreary day...thank you.
See? I saw a dreary day coming and figured this poem might do the trick. I'd always loved that term "Exit Strategy" and managed to cook up something around it. We had the chainsaws and woodchipper again today.
A big bentover hickory tree has been threatening to demolish the northeast corner of our house (exactly where I'm typing right now, in fact) and, in case Irene has a sister, we thought we'd better strike first. - Bob

Re:I;m glad you liked it. Our life has been complicated by our both
getting very bad colds. We turn for relief to a source I know you wouldn't consider - movies. We watched Tootsie,
Inherit the Wind, High Noon, Strangers on a Train, and In the Heat of the Night. Tonight we just might do Scrsbble. I wish you soon relief from that misery. For God's sake, don't watch Jaws again! - Bob

It would be or would have been if we knew there was to be a way out. Jolly Jokey I like light relief from my misery.
