Help, some one! I'm sure I ought to know it, but who or what is FSI?

Re: Thank you, Lion. That's very kind of you. Like the chainsaw, axe
and shopping carts mechanical things always seem to have some kind of personality or quirkiness that offers interesting possibilities. -  Bob

I had never paid much attention to them before - you lift the mundane into art

Re: You lost me, CC. This is just a carwash poem. I'm leaving the
erotica up to you.  For now at least.  - Bob

Re:Michael Crichton wrote a novel on that a few years ago - I forget the
title. You're right -it's all pretty much beyond me, too.  What I REALLY had in mind was that Star Wars episode where Han Solo flies his escape into a big crater that turns out to be the mouth of an insanely huge monster. It was a fun idea but hard to reference.  Besides, the poem didn't need the dinosaur idea once it got underway.
Anyway, thanks for your kind words! - Bob

What affection man gives to his playmate, demanding so little in return just a gentle murmur of thanks and a shiver of antiicipation.

This is good!
Speaking of high-tech robot world, I've been reading about nanobots and how they can reprogram cells at the molecular level.  I really don't understand all of that, but it is very interesting.

Thank you, Jay. I think it's best if read aloud all in one breath, except
for the last two lines, which should be more leisurely. It's a kind of sound effects poem.- Bob

This is a poem that FSI will take to heart in joyous leaps, that his fathers robots have struck such a cord in your heart so as to write so beautifully of...something most of us never notice, but the poet in you cannot leave unwritten, well done.
